Day 14

Long day today with the Pattersons!

Here's what we did: (Take a deep breath!)
Walked over to their hotel, walked to the Cathedral Saint-Germain des Pres, saw that, walked to the Musee d'Orsay, saw the Degas et le nu exhibit (lots of sketches and paintings of nude women-- felt kind of bad for Emily and Eliza!), saw the impressionists, tried and failed to get a river boat and ended up walking all the way to the Champs Elysees. Had a lovely lunch at a Brasserie, walked the entirety of the Champs Elysees, saw the Arc de Triomphe, CLIMBED the Arc de Triomphe, and got a cab back.

We were on our feet for about six hours!

Here are a few photos:

Oldest church in Paris!
Musee d'Orsay-- used to be a train station!

Finally home, utterly exhausted, very happy because I got the fishbone out of my gum. Love to all!
